The Italian freestyle windsurfer Riccardo Marca reports for us from the EFPT Toro Andaluz 2017 which will take place at Valdevaqueros, Tarifa.
Tomorrow is the first day of the event and a small but top-class fleet will battle for the places on the podium. Besides, Riccardo Marca, names like Davy Scheffers, Tonky Frans, Max Matissek, Rick Jendrusch, Jacopo Testa or Adrien Bosson are on the list of pre-registered riders.
Riccardo writes:
Today I travelled to beautiful Tarifa (Spain) for the second stop of the “European Freestyle Pro Tour”. I have been there already two times, the first time was about three years ago and the second time was just last year, in occasion of the “Fanatic/North sails” dealers meeting. It’s a really nice place and I’m looking forward to be there again.
I had to get two different flights this time, so I had a stop over in Ibiza before getting the flight to Malaga. It’s always pretty stressful to travel with so much gear, but I kind of get used to it. I arrived in Malaga at 16:00.
Every time I come back to this place I’m amazed by the landscape, the really good vibes here and especially the good wind! The forecast looks great, it seems we will score some good heats on the week end.
