Canadian Freestyle Pro Phil Soltysiak (Can-9) recently spent a some time in the USA. He travelled together with his brother Tom, the filmer Adam Wojtkowiak and photographer Jean-Sebastien Rousseau. They windsurfed in really strong wind conditions at Plattsburgh at the Lake Champlain, which is located a bit south of  Montreal. Phil landed a few really nice air moves in the rough waters of the lake. Afterwards they travelled to Cape Cod, a long stretched peninsula nearby Boston.

“Upon returning home from the indoor event in Poland, I received an e-mail from my fin sponsor Makani Fins that there was going to be good wind on Lac Champlain, not far from where the company, which is based in Quebec City. He suggested I drive out for a session, which we would follow up with a weekend trip to Cape Cod, MA. On Lac Champlain we really scored with a great day on 4.2 and 91, and in Cape Cod we had OK freestyle conditions every day; two days on 5.4 and one on 4.6. Here’s a little edit, mostly from the sailing on Lac Champlain, made by Adam Wojtkowiak.” Phil Soltysiak, CAN-9
