Former Freestyle PWA World Champion Dieter van der Eyken gives a re-cap on his 2024 season. It was a great season with a lot of coaching and a great success in the Pozo Izquierdo Wave World Cup. Dieter managed to make it in 4th place. And he nailed a lot of perfect Frontside Wave 360s at his home turf. We are very happy to see Dieter constantly growing as we followed his career from the early years on. Thumbs up Dieter! Very well done! Good luck for 2025!
Nearly seven years ago Dieter van der Eylen decided to make El Médano, Tenerife, his home. Back in 2018, he was searching for a place where he could continue developing his windsurfing skills while also focusing on his coaching and side projects. Choosing El Médano turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. With this clip, I want to share the many faces of Cabezo – wave and freestyle windsurfing – and what makes it such a special place. I thought it’s probably the best way to close 2024, a year filled with sailing, competing & coaching. A huge thanks to Rafa Soulart for the incredible filming and editing!
