De Slag om Domburg (DSOD) is one of the most renowned wave competitions in the province of Zeeland, held at a spot famous for its powerful North Sea conditions. Organized by a highly dedicated crew, this year’s edition delivered big time: a heavy storm swept across the coastline, producing sensational stormy port-tack conditions that allowed the riders to unleash their full repertoire.

Henri Kolberg, Pim van der Borgt, Remco de Zeeuw and Jordy van der Panne advanced to the all-deciding final. German world-cup sailor Henri Kolberg – who has spent extensive time training on Maui and gained huge experience in wave riding over recent years – scored the highest points in jumps and wave riding to take the win.

Congrats to Henri and all the other podium finishers!

Here’s the rad post-event video from an epic day in southern Zeeland.
