José Romero Santana enjoyed the windy summer months at his home spot Pozo Izquiero on Gran Canaria. He travelled once to Tenerife to compete in the PWA Wave World Cup, but for the rest of the summer, he stayed at home and when the wind was off, he went for a surfing session, snorkeling or some fitness training. Josè studies tourism at Las Palmas and has surf or windsurfing there or joins the gym. During the summer months Josè had holidays at the university and spent more time in Pozo Izquierdo.
