Victor Fernendez has dropped a new wave windsurfing clip featuring action from the western coast of Sal. Victor, who was ranked 4th in the IWT/PWA unified World Wave ranking, hits the lips quite hard and throws down big, stylish Aerials. The 3 x Wave World Champion and 7 x Vice World Champion will soon be heading back to the Cape Verde islands.
Victor’s passion for wave windsurfing is as strong as ever, and he continues to push his limits. And let’s remebeR: at 41 of age, Victor is still right there with the very best on tour.
The winter of 2025, in some of the best waves of my life. These are the conditions I always dreamt of when I started to windsurf. This is the first part of a few days we spent filming in various spots along the West and Northwest Coast of the island of Sal. I mostly used my 5.3m, 5.0m and 4.7m sails, along with my 95L and 90L boards. I can´t wait to go back in January 2026 for some more of this.
