“The Wave” – the first stationary Deepwater Wave at Boot Düsseldorf

This year the boot Düsseldorf presents THE WAVE the first stationary Deepwater Wave (citywave®) at a water sports fair. By prior registration, online or directly on the spot in hall 2, each visitor can enjoy the experience, no matter whether he is a beginner or a professional. Before jumping into the wave, everyone gets a brief instruction and if necessary help setting. Then it’s time to start – neos and boards are included, changing rooms are also available. More info about the wave at http://thewave.boot.de.

For those who prefer relaxing, the Surfers Village is the place to find the latest clothes and boards. Or you can watch the action on the wave with a cold drink. Watching is worthwhile, especially on the weekends, because the stars of the stand-up paddle scene will be on THE WAVE and demonstrate their skills at the boat SUP Wave Masters on the 21st and 22nd of January. On the 28th and 29th of January the wave riders will show what the perfect backside cutback looks like. They will battle in the “Wave Master” competition for a prize money of 5000€. Pros like Moritz Mauch, Zane Schweitzer and Sonni Hönscheid will compete. Additionally you can find several windsurfing shops in hall 2 like Surf Keppler, Surf Schuhmacher, Surfpirates Kiel, funsport.de, Surfers Paradise, Surf-Sport Rheinhausen
