Bernd Flessner is one of the most successful German windsurfers who finishes his professional windsurfing career after 25 years. The athlete from Norderney won 16 German titles and had top results on the PBA and PWA Tour. In 1996 he had his best season finishing in 5th in the PWA Worldtour and winning the production board title on Norderney. But just yesterday at the PWA Surf World Cup Sylt, the 44 year old Bernd showed, that he still belongs to the fastest sailors and finished the 5th elimination on the 6th place.
The PWA World Cup Sylt 2013 is his last participation in an event and he announced to stop his career after this event. Tonix pictures produced a really nice video feature about Bernd Flessner.
