The AWT has released their first “stoke video” for the American Windsurfing Tour (AWT) 2012 filmed at Ho’okipa Feb 13th, 2012 by Sam Bittner Productions. Plus, the first event of the AWT is coming closer.
Goya Windsurfing is now the title sponsor for the first AWT event to be held in Santa Cruz on May 3rd to 6th. The Goya Windsurfing Festival will be more then just an epic contest for pros and amateurs. There will be a demo of the latest Goya boards and sails on May 2nd and they expect the parties and overall atmosphere to be off-the-charts. This will be the perfect way to show off windsurfing to everyone driving down Highway 1 between Santa Cruz and San Francisco. You already can register for the events and if you sign-up in advance for more than three AWT events in 2012 you can save $100.00.

· Santa Cruz Classic: May 3rd-6th
· Pistol River Wave Bash: June 14th-17th
· San Carlos Cactus Cup: July 28th-August 4th
· Hatteras Wave Jam: Mid September
· Maui Makani Classic: October 25th- November 3rd
