“As Far As We Can II” produced by Adam Sims was originally planned to be submitted to the Ocean Film Tour but plans have changed and due to the coronavirus outbreak Adam decided to re-edit and create a 3 part web series from the footage. As Far As We Can II takes you together with Alina Shalin, Adam Sims and Dudu Levi on a journey to Iceland, South Africa and Namibia.
Adam Sims: “Episode 2 finds us heading back up to Namibia, we search the South African North West coast and end up at a spot right on the border of Namibia, we actually end up windsurfing from one country and back to the other, was quite a funny little thing to do. In fact, some of the shots were filmed from a small island that technically belongs to no one, so some of this episode was filmed in no country, no land. It’s important for me to ensure the series is Carbon Neutral. I don’t believe we should be forced to feel guilty to travel, fly, drive – of course we shouldn’t do unnecessary long trips (define your unecessary..) – but we should take responsibility for our personal actions and contribute to causes that lock our carbon usage back into the ground where it was taken from, trees/mangroves are simply not enough.”

In Episode 1 Adam Sims takes us on a journey to Iceland mixed up with footage from past projects. You may know some of the footage already but the original idea of this series was meant to be for a wider audience with little to no windsurfing background.
