April 16 is Andre’s birthday. We want to share a memory of Andre on this special day today. Andre always had a smile on his face and a plan for what came next.

In 2004 we travelled to Venezuela to produce our first movie (DVD) called “7 Sons of Freestyle”. The “7 Sons” was standing for seven extraordinary freestyle windsurfers, who were training together in El Yaque.
Andre Paskowski was one of “our 7 sons” together with Ricardo Campello, Cheo Diaz, Gollito Estredo, Remko de Weerd, Antxon Otaegui and Normen Guenzlein.
From that moment Andre was a big and important part of the Continentseven world as professional windsurfer, business man and video producer.
Unfortunately Andre lost the battle against the cancer and passed away much too early 4 years ago, on August 2, 2013.

Andre missing more than a lot from the windsurfing scene!
I can’t imagine many people would buy this DVD anymore.. why not just upload, probably earn more from youtube adverts and the website traffic.
It was a really great movie, I am sure I can speak for myself and quite a few others that it sparked my first interest in freestyle.

Maybe you will not believe it, but there are still people buying older DVD’s. It was actually the first DVD which had the focus on freestyle and it was a pretty successful product. We have not decided yet, if we want to upload the DVD somewhere. Maybe we will.

I like this DVD too, I bought it in 2006 and learned a lot,
for a DVD the resolution is not good but it was almost 10 years ago in 2004, I understand.
I would like to ask C7 if you have it in higher resolution, say 720p

We actually tried to upload it in 720p but Youtube made troubles. Now we can’t change it anymore, as the link got shared through the internet and we don’t want to change the link now.

Hi Kerstin and many thanks for your reply.
I understand the technical difficulties involved to change the resolution and the link now.
However for Historical reasons, since it is the first Freestyle DVD ever produced, and out of respect of the Memory of Andre it deserves to be available in Full HD 1080p, so we will be able to watch it full screen in our TV sets.
So I would like to ask you to keep my request as one of your pending projects.

Full HD is not possible but 720p. We will definitely put the whole DVD online, but have not decided when, but we will keep you updated about it.

Hey Medea,
On my TV I watch mainly clips with resolution 720 and higher.
Of course for educational reasons I watch any clip even with lower resolution.
720p for the 7 Sons of Freestyle would be great.
