UK windsurfer Adam Sims heads on to the surgeons table for an urgent spinal surgery in Munich.
Adam Sims writes on his Facebook account: “A severe disc prolapse (discovered in the last few days) means that I’m having a disc replaced in my upper spine. Surgery is not too complex and I’ll be out in a couple of hours and already on the road to a full recovery 
?looking to be back on the water later this summer
