14 Dutch windsurfers made it on one board. How is that possible? Dutch people are very enthusiastic about windsurfing.
It’s probably one of the longest existing boards, if we call it a board. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Dutch student windsurfing association “Plankenkoorts”, the students connected old windsurfing boards by using wooden planks. All participants had a lot of fun creating the monster board. In the end the plan worked out well and all 14 windsurfing addicts made it on the 35.7m (117 foot) long windsurfing board board. And what was their motivation? They wanted to set a World Record for the longest Windsurfing Board. Let’ s have a look in the Guinness book of records in 2016. Perhaps they made it in.
