RIDERNEWS

Point-7 international are pleased to announce the signing of Martin Ten Hoeve (H-999). The Dutch wave sailor, who is born and raised in Holland, is geared up to represent Point-7 in 2008. He has competed on the PWA World tour for some years now and is also taking part in numerous other wave events around northern Europe. Martin himself comments: "One of the reasons for me to change from North Sails was that with them I was just one of many riders on a big team. At Point-7 I’ll be part of a more compact group, who has a very dynamic and enthusiastic non stop approach to the development of their material. I believe in the commitment and expertise they are showing and after having tried some of their sails I’m ever more convinced that I’ve made the right choice. Being part of the development will also bring my sailing to a new level, allowing me to reach my own personal goals such as to become Dutch wave Champion and get a better world ranking. In 2008 I will also be competing more in slalom and with the support and help of Andrea Cucchi, one of the best riders there is, I’m sure to improve my game dramatically. I can only say the future looks bright and I’m stoked to be given the opportunity to join the Point-7 team!". (See Pic 1)

I’m looking forward to some serious training on Maui over the next few months and then heading off to compete on the PWA World Tour Slalom 42 events. I now have all the support I need and together with my effort I’m looking forward to an exciting year”. (See Pic 2)
