The Black Box – Interview with Tiesda You

The Black Box from Starboard is not a wave board for all conditions. This board is built for small, mushy waves and light winds. We have met Tiesda You (Starboard Brand Manager and Chief Designer) at the tradeshow Boot Düsseldorf and wanted to find out more about the board.

    sorry, but this is not a innovation from starboard. AHD has been offering the “seal” model since around 2008. I was riding my AHD seal 102 already some years ago im El Médano… 😉

    Also shame starboard used on their site photos of Danny in Tenerife ridding black box without asking for permission the local photo guy from surfmedano.com who took them and they removed all his posts from Facebook and forum where he was asking ‘what is going on’. Unprofessional!
