Student Windsurfing Festival Aussie Kiss – Tow-In Show

on 2. November, 2012 – 22:51 / No Comment

The Student Windsurfing Association kicked off their flagship event for the 11th consecutive year this October. All together, over 600 student enthusiasts from England, Scotland and Wales congregated to hit the water. Student Windsurfing hosted its first ever tow in freestyle competition this year. The festival which caters for having the largest number of beginners on the water at any event worldwide also made sure to put on a show to demonstrate to all those new to the sport what is really possible.

After a few big crashes the hangovers from the student party had been washed away and the big moves started to come out. PWA freestylers Max Rowe and Adam Sims demonstrated to the students how it’s done. Ollie Acton and Nicola Terenzi, both of Southampton Solent University, led the student charge in front of a 600 strong crowd of stunned students.
