“Secrets of the Wind” is a short film series documenting the travels of 2011 World Champion and three-time European Champion, Steven van Broeckhoven. We have hooked up with windsurfer and filmmaker Andraz Zan, the creative mind behind the project and are really looking forward to see the episodes. The trailer looks promising.

Continentseven: Which destinations are featured in the first video?
Andraz Zan: Actually we will be publishing two episodes for this Europe part. There will be 7 countries and around 15 spots… France, Belgium, Netherland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal all in 28days.

Continentseven: How many km did you drive?
Andraz Zan: We drove 10500km to always follow and catch the wind. We had incredible luck as it was windy on all spots. We were sleeping around 4h average a day, but really nice footage came out, so we are all very happy!

Continentseven: Why are such projects important?
Andraz Zan: It is important to keep the spirit, discover new places, meet friends or just locals and to have the desire to see what is waiting for you at the spot/ new place. This is one of the ways Steven will be presenting the windsurfing lifestyle in short episodes. Projects like Secrets Of The Wind are important, because it is one of the ways, how we can promote the sport and keep it growing. That’s why everyone was working hard to involve Jaguar in the project, to introduce and promote the sport to another “world.
