Nicolas Akgazciyan (27), who lives in South of France at Leucate, is a very complete windsurfer. He is very successful on the PWA tour. Despite his studies through the last years he was able to keep his level and is currently ranked in 8th position. His favourite discipline is the freestyle, but he was competing in Wave- Super-X and Slalomevents during his career, which has started back in 2000. Nico has a lot of choices, where to enter the water as Leucate and in the near surroundings. This time he drove a bit further south, to Le Criques de Porteils near Perpignan and sailed in bump & jump conditions with south eastern wind. Later he had a nice freestyle session at his flatwater homespot Eole, Etang de Leucate. He nailed some of the latest freestyle tricks. Definitely great spots for a trip in fall for European windsurfers!
