Extremely tweaked Pushloops, Pushloop Forwards, Double Forwards, Backside 360, Wave Grubbies, powerful frontside turns in onshore conditions…. That´s what the judges want to see at the moment and that´s what Brawzinho has improved over the last year. He extra travelled several weeks before the start of the contest to Gran Canaria and trained at the spot. Once he landed a perfectly rotated Pushloop Forward really hard and hurt his knee a bit. While the competition he was on fire and was able to beat countryman Kauli Seadi and Alex Mussolini, who is one of the strongest contenders in side onshore porttack conditions. Finally he lost against Robby Swift. Overall he finished in 6th at Pozo Izquierdo.
He edited following action packed vide just after the competition on Tenerife.
At the moment Marcilio spends some days near New York to have a good surf and some hours with his girlfriend. Then he will fly to LA, to meet there with Keith Teboul and Levi Siver to drive to the next event, the AWT event at Punta San Carlos, Baja California. Marcilio will fight for the title with big names like Levi Siver, Keith Teboul, Bernd Roediger or Kevin Pritchard.
amazing style !!!!
I’m also wondering, that Browzhino did’nt get the final. it’s really amazing what he shows there.
By the way, for all not german speakers: The family name of Philip is Köster not Koster, the “ö” is pronounced like a mixture from o and e (normal latin e not the eglish pronounciation. This Ö is very common in sweden like Langström or other names.
i really would like to see the final BROWNE-KOSTER!!! im sorry that marcilio cannot be on the podium…so sick insane stilish….
No one on the tour has such a great waveriding style like him!
