Multiple windsurfing world champion Kevin Pritchard (US-3) sits on the porch on Maui and talks in the following 7 minutes long video interview, how much he likes windsurfing. Nowadays Kevin (37) is running Maui Nerd Productions together with the German Johannes Neumann, but we are sure, he’d be still able to win competitions. His last big success was the second place at Ho’okipa in the Maui Makani Classic, the final stop of the American Windsurfing Tour 2012.

“I go out there and have fun. In the past I was focused much more on the technical moves, always with the competition in mind. Today I go down to Ho’okipa and just love it. I live at a beautiful place and try to get creative. My brother Matt helped me a lot in the past and since he left the competition scene I lost the sparring partner and a bit the great results in the end of the day. In the future I want to continue to develop board sand sails, test gear for my partners and stay creative!” Kevin “KP” Pritchard
