The reigning PWA freestyle worldchampion Steven van Broeckhoven resumes his week at the PWA freestyle event on Fuerteventura. After van Broeckhoven had lost in the single elimination against his fellow countryman Dieter van der Eyken, the Belgian started to catch-up in the Double Elimination heat by heat and finished the event in second. Steven told us, he had a cramp in his forearm and where not able to stretch his fingers during the last heats. 

Imagine: Steven sailed 7 heats each with 9 minutes duration and made in every heat 14 move attempts. This is a total of 63minutes and about 100 moves during the competition.

Although he did not win the event, like last year, he was still very happy finish in second.
