Adrian Beholz and Shania Raphael are the winners of the German Freestyle Battle at Lemkenhafen in Germany. 19 men and 5 women travelled to Lemkenhafen to take part in the German Freestyle Battle event. As the forecast was great, some riders travelled from the far south to the north of Germany. During the registration and in the first heats the wind blew with nice 5-6 Bft, but soon the storm arrived and brought heavy rain and strong gusts. Especially during the Men’s Double Elimination the wind picked up. The moves got higher and the crashes harder. In the end the favorites were on the podium. Adrian Beholz won the event in front of Swiss Loick Spicher and Valentin Böckler. Shania Raphael won the ladies divisions in front of the Dutch competitor Jazzy Zwerus. Elke Gehrmann, who participated for the first time at a German Freestyle Battle event, completed the podium in third.

Shania Raphael, women winner: “I’m so happy about my first place, it just feels great. The conditions were really tough with gusts up to 45 knots. I was overpowered on 3.3 and the other girls were ripping it too so it was not easy. It was just a great competition with sick action, friends and a lot of fun! I’m looking forward to the next battle.”
