Last weekend the Bol Open 2012 (Croatian Slalom Championship 2012) took place at the Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape) on the island of Bol, Dalmatia, Croatia. 33 competitors travelled from countries like Croatia, Slovenia, France and Austria to the Dalmatian coast to take part in the event. On the first day of the event two qualification rounds were sailed in very light wind condtitions at Bol with the start at the Golden Cape and the finish right in front of the Zoo Station windsurfing center.

On the second day of the event, southern wind was forecasted, so the race organizers decided to move the event to the other side of the island, to Supetar. Chris Pressler claimed the victory of the first race ahead of Ante Berlengi. The second race was won by Pierre Mortefon in front of Chris Pressler. The third race was not completed due to shifting and dropping windconditions.
