Fabio Calò, editor in chief of the Italian Funboard Mag and himself a great windsurfer, will run the Fabio Calo Wave Camp 2013 in collaboration with Oceansource. The camp will start on February the 10th 2013(arrival day) and last till the February 17th 2013 (leaving day). Windsurf Pro coaching will be available with Fabio Calò, runner-up in the 2012 Italian wave championships, who is a regular in Cape Town and therefore perfectly suited to take all participants to the best spots around town. It can be called an adventure wave camp and participants should be wave experienced already. There is a maximum availability of 10 persons for the camp and a few places are still available.

‘ This trip is aimed at enjoying South Africa to the fullest. We’ll be cruising around in search for the best spot of the day in and around Cape Town whilst Sunset Beach offers the perfect place to launch into the amazing wavesailing conditions that South Africa is now famous for. For those seeking calmer conditions, a nearby lake offers a more ‘relaxed’ setting and the perfect spot for busting some freestyle or perfecting those carve jibes. It’s highly recommended that you bring your own equipment to maximise your experience. However, local equipment rental is available should you prefer, just let us know your requirements and we’ll get it organised in time for your arrival.’ Fabio Calo

The costs for the 6 days of pro coaching, 7 nights in a shared room, airport transfer and video coaching are 1050 €. Extra night stay is possible. Windsurfing kit for rent is available from 230€ per person.
