Ross Williams from UK and Arnon Dagan from Israel were fighting for the first place on the third day of the Formula Windsurfing European Championship 2012

Day 3 saw excellent conditions for Formula racing: sunny, wind with 3 to 4 beaufort and 4 full races. Ross Williams is still leading with a clear lead and the lowest possible points of 5 followed by Arnon Dagan with 9 points and Steve Allen with 12 points. So far only Williams and Dagan were able to win races.

Day 3 saw a bit of summerfeeling with offshore winds from easterly directions. At 15.50 the first race of the day, number 4, got started. 54 participants were fighting at the triangle course. Arnon had a fantastic start in day 3 defeating Ross Williams, who made it in second followed by the Polish racer Hubert Mokrzyki.
Race 5 got started immediately after race 4  and the participants had to stay outside on the North Sea. After a hard fight for the first place between Allen and Dagan it was the Israeli Dagan, who took the victory in front of Steve Allen and Paulo dos Reis, who is the current leader in the Formula ranking.

Race 6 saw a strong comeback of Ross Williams winning in front of Dagan and Williams. It´s clear that one of the three worldclass sailors will take the victory back home on sunday.

Some minutes before 19.00 the final race of the day, number 7, was started. It was the race, which brought discard number 2. Again it was Ross Williams, who took the victory and the clear lead after two discards with the lowest possible points. Allen made it in second and a strong sailing Dannis Littel from the Netherlands came in third.

Two more days to go, but it looks as if, Ross WIlliams has the biggest chance to win the event and get European Formula Champion 2012.
