David Ezzy sits at his sewing machine and talks about his time at North Sails. He also speaks about Craig Maisonville and Mike Waltze. Maisonville, who came from Minnesota, preferred to sail without harness and was well known for his insane bottom turns. Later he started HiTech. Mike Waltze – he was one of the most innovative windsurfers in the 80ties – was a great windsurfer and is working in the video business nowadays. David has been in sail making business for 30 years and it’s really interesting to listen to his words. He as well explains, why it makes no sense to produce high-end racing sails nowadays.
