Gökçeada is the largest island in Turkey and offers great windsurfing conditions during spring and summer, from complete flat water conditions to onshore waves up to 1,5m. The Bulgarian windsurfing scene has conquered the spot in Turkey and you find several Bulgarian windsurfing centers at the main beach (Aydincik). We have visited the island in 2009 and fell a little bit in love with the island, because it was still wild and uncrowed and a kind of windsurfing jewel in the Aegean.
