The windsurfing- and surfing spot “Brutal Beach” in South of France is in danger. The plan is to enlarge the existing harbour and build dikes. In 2002 and 2004, the city hall of Six Fours had already faced the resistance of local windsurfers and surfers. Now, in 2012, the “Six Fours magazine” also published an article in its April issue n°173, about a new project of enlarging the harbour of La Mediterranée close to Brutal beach. The project and the building of this dike and the change of the shoreline would change the quality of the waves for ever.
