Bernd Roediger is one of the best sailing young talents at Ho’okipa and he has won the Maui Makani Classic in November 2012 with impressive style. A big swell hit Ho’okipa and it was the right time for Bernd, who has just recovered from a vertebra fracture: “6 weeks ago I fractured my T12 vertebra, but now I’m back.” That’s a gory news, but he is in a good constitution again after he fractured the vertebra landing on the reef in the Marshall Islands.

reminds me of a young mark angulo..like his style. when are the goya/quatro boys gonna make a full movie? siver, goya roediger, browzino, etc can u imagine? i’d like to see more behind the scenes, introspective stuff too like they do in surf/skate films. comon guys invest in some good camera gear and make us proud.
btw congrats bernt on your awt win at hookipa. i watched the whole thing live and u full deserved the win bro. much respect from taiwan.long live windsurfing!
