Bon tardi Curacao – Video
Rafael de Windt (17) is an upcoming freestyle talent. He lives on the Carribean island of Curacao, but has already travelled many times to Europe to compete at international events. He managed to finish the PWA Fuertventura event on the excellent 17th place and got third in the PWA Youth Freestyle ranking. And we are pretty sure he will make it in the top 16 soon.
He called his latest clip “Bon tardi”, what’s the translation for “good afternoon” in the local Papiamentu language, which is spoken on Curacao, Bonaire and Aruba. The afternoon is the period of the day, when “Rafa” has time for a windsurfing session at an inlet with flat water conditions located at the southern part of the island Curacao next to the Windsurfing Curacao center at Caracas Bay.

Sick vid Rafa! However, this is not St Joris. This is the Spanish Water in front of Windsurfing Curacao. This inlet is on the South shore. St Joris is on the North Shore.
