With winds speeds of over 70 knots and 20-ft plus surf, the first mission of the Red Bull Storm Chase to Brandon Bay, Ireland was a blast! After an outstanding contest in hurricane-strength winds, six sailors – Marcilio Browne, Dany Bruch, Victor Fernandez, Robby Swift, Julien Taboulet and Thomas Traversa – advance to mission 2 of the most-challenging windsurfing contest of all time. More info about the first mission here.

I can’t believe that Victore went out without any boots on his feet… The footage looks awesome!
Super radical!
Anyone knows who made this clip? Some Redbull related production?
The clip was produced for Red Bull by the team from Big Sexy Pictures (www.bs-pictures.de).
unbelievable, I go to hide under my bed now
well done to all
Respect for all those storm chasers! The wind is absolutely monstrous, and damn it looks way to cold for sailing =D\
Big up for Thomas with his light weight and still make the best overall..
But I do have a question,
what about the riders who did not show up?
Ricardo, Phillip and Kai Lenny.. the big red bull stars
Will they be able to compete in mission 2, or will they be kicked out of the race??
Thanks in advantage, looking forward to the next storm….
Phillip got hurt, Kai had things to do in California and apparently Ricardo was just being lazy.
This is SICK! Robby’s push-forward has to be the best I’ve ever seen!
