Mats Moyson – Video

on 3. August, 2012 – 02:07 / 4 Comments

Davy Scheffers, one of the most radical and creative newschool freestyle windsurfers, sent us this clip featuring the young, upcoming Belgian windsurfer Mats Moyson (13), who is on freestyle gear for one year only.

Davy Scheffers: “Mats Moyson (B-159) is a really young talented kid, which is super motivated to learn more and more. Since a few months I am helping him to get better and I am coaching him for a bit. He is 13 years old now and do 1 year freestyle. Before I went to Fuerteventura he went to the Prokids EFPKT in Marseille and became 5th. He was only able to do Airjibes at that moment and now he is doing consistently spocks. There are so many young rookies on the moment here, also Michiel de Cooman, Mathijs Lasore, Maaike Huvermann and others are the ones to watch out for. The kids are the new generation and everywhere around the world there are new upcoming rookies. In Bonaire there is Cheppy, who also is in the Childeren of the wind movie. He is nailing Funnels already!”

Davy is coaching the Mats, who sails a lot at Brouwersdam! Nice job Davy!
