Video – Team France at the PWA event in Austria

on 31. May, 2012 – 10:37 / 4 Comments

Sophia Regerbis and Thomas Traversa visited the PWA Surf Worldcup 2012 in Austria and  followed  the French freestyle sailors with their camera.
The event saw only one day of competition. All the French riders felt excellent in the light and gusty conditions and performed well at this first freestyle event of the year: 5th place for Antony Ruenes and Nicolas Akgazciyan, 9th place for Julien Mas and 17th place for Adrien Bosson, who had to withdraw from the contest after his 1st round victory due to an ankle injury.

“This is the first clip about our new established TeamFranceWindsurf. Freestyler and wavesailors decided to be a team. The idea behind is, to be stronger, if you are united in a team. Thomas and myself will follow the freestylers to the events with the camera. The next stop will be the Bonifacio Freestyle Project on the island of Corsica. Antony, Nico and Julien will participate in this event.” (Sophia Regerbis)

The video is extremely well filmed and edited  and shows the atmosphere at the beach and on the water. Because a lot of footage was filmed from a close distance, a really special atmosphere gets created. You feel like being really close to the action.
