Marco Lang prepares for 2012 – Video
on 24. January, 2012 13:28 / 10 Comments
Last autumn, the Austrian windsurfer Marco Lang (25) travelled to Klitmöller, Denmark to challenges a massive stormfront. Later, when the winter arrived at central Europe, he left to the Canary island of Tenerife, where he trains at El Medano together with the German racer Gunnar Asmussen. Marco, who finished the PWA Slalom tour in 40th position, will definitely fight hard to improve his result in 2012. He made his debut at the PWA tour back in 2009 at Podersdorf.

professional windsurfer? vielleicht in ein paar jahren…
Ok, viele Amateure surfen besser. Die haben aber kein so professionelles Auto, kein professionelles Equipment, und kein professionelles Video-Editing. Und nicht so geile wipe outs.
@futbeidl: So wie dein Synonym ist auch dein Kommentar…
really funny pro
professional windsurfer?? WHERE IS HE IN THIS VIDEO ???
Marco is a top Slalom sailor, who also rips in the waves – but his focus is on racing, where I´m sure he´ll be getting some good results on the PWA. Unfortunately most talented windsurfers don´t realise being a professional windsurfer is not only about the action on the water. There are many talented windsurfers who compete, very few of them are professional….think about it. Some jealous guys here? Just be happy that a company is prepared to invest in a guy who has proven to be professional enough to attract some good sponsors to our sport.
and if you check the conditions in DK he is sailing in, they are not easy either…
@prorider: AGREE!! nice post
@theothers: How would you guys call somebody who is earning money with/for windsurfing – having windsurfing as his profession?
… ahh. yeah.. probably professional windsurfer…
Hahahahahaha…… Pro? At my home spot there are 50 guys sailing better than this guy. These days looks like anyone can be a profesional windsurfer…. Hahahahahha…., real funny
Marco is sailing really well on the PWA Slalom circuit and that´s definitely the tour, where most of the world´s best racers show up. It´s really hard to make it in the top 35 at an event. He finished the 2011 Costa Brava event in 33 position for instance. Not too bad!
Chris
