Johann Dargent (18) is a windsurfer from Guadeloupe, where he is also the current champion in slalom. This year, he wanted to compete at the PWA Slalom Worldcup on Fuerteventura, but he could not find slalom gear for the competition. “This summer I went to Fuerteventura 24 days to do the slalom world cup but I didn’t find slalom gear to do it … So I tried freestyle and it was good,” writes Johann. Keep it up, your Goiter is already looking good!

Let the ongoing debate of whether this is a goliter or a ponch commence!
For me, ponch. It´s attempted with no intention of going inside the wave, only like a freestyle trick (ponch), not a wave move (goyter).
A goyter, or a goyter try, is the one that you hit the falling lip trying to continue surfing.
