The next AUT-6
Bernie Seidl is definitely one of the legends in the Austrian freesytle windsurfing scene. His sailnumber AUT-6, inspired by Josh Stone´s number, was well known at the lakes in Austria and at Lake Garda. He stopped competing some years ago, had some nasty injuries from snowboarding and fully focused on the work in his boardshop in Salzburg. Bernie is known as a machine on the water and on land. He never gave up fighting in his heats till the end and seldom missed a party. But now he is too busy in his job to continue training and competing. So it was him and young Austrian freestyler Lorenz Forstenlechner, who created the idea to watch out for the next AUT-6.
It is a project dedicated to the youngsters of the Austrian windsurfing scene and perhaps a good example for other countries how young talented windsurfers could be supported. Out of this reason there will be a youth ranking while the Parkstyle event, which will take place from the 23rd till the 26th of September in Vienna and Podersdorf as an integrated project of the Stylehunters Austrian Championship event.
