South Africa National Competition

The South African National Championship opened with an expression the day before of the event to take advantage of the excellent conditions at Swartriet.
Today, after a long wait for wind, 4 rounds of slalom were held on Langebaan Lagoon. The heats were dominated by Ben van der Steen (NED57), sailing on his new JP/Neil Pryde kit and Tom Malina (CZE109), with the highest ranking South African overall Peter Lumley (SA1). Tomorrow is set for the Wave contest, to be held at Swartriet, wind allowing.
