EFPT event in Tarifa got cancelled
The EFPT tour management sent us the news, that unfortunately the Toro Andaluz in Tarifa had to be cancelled. Instead of having the 2010 tourstart in the former windsurfing Mecca Tarifa, the EFPT had good news in the pipe.
The EFPT could find a new tour stop, which will be the first event of the EFPT season and will replace the Toro Andaluz event. From the 16th till the 18th of April the best European Freestylers will fight in La Franqui while the prestigious Mondial du Vent for 5000 € pricemoney and the first points for the ranking. The little Village is located near Leucate, a windsurfing melting spot in the South of France. The whole event is well known and gets organised by former Windsurfing Speed world record holder Pascal Maka.
Now it´s about half a month of extra time left for all riders to prepare their best freestyle performance. The tour will be started later than expected in the mide of April.

It’s really a shame and bad for business. I hope no more events being canceled in Tarifa. By the way, the summer alerady arrived to South of Spain.
