Philip Soltysiak, the best Canadian freestyle windsurfer, sent us a nice Shaka jumping over a sand bar in slowmotion. This move was filmed at a lagoon not far from Jericoacoara, Brazil.

super slow motion!!
Ya my buddy Adam Sims had a really cool camera that recorded video at I think it was 130fps. Gotta credit him for this cool clip. Too bad the sun wasn’t out.
Best Canadian Windsurfer? More like better than every other windsurfer in the world except for 9… sick shaka
Sick Shaka!
Nicee slomo movie, nice to learn the shaka from this movie
Respect
I tried several time yesterday and today.. i cant see the clip.
I just see a white screen. Any ideas what could be wrong?
Hi Michael!
Which browser do you use?
Super cool clip man, congratulations!
Tried it with chrome, safari, explorer 7 and firefox and I get the same thing…
I guess its quick time!!
But I see the bar at the bottom with the play and stop buttons etc but the movie is just blank white.
I guess if I update quick time it may solve? But no error appears, the movie plays and nothing.
strange…
@medea and michael
have you tried the latest quicktime release 7.6.5?
the problem is the scaling of the video

P.S.
I will try updating quick time tomorrow!
ok did it now… it works. Very nice!
Hey Philip,
Are you sure about 130 fps? What camera was it please?
Cheers
The camera was a casio exilim ex f1. 300fps not 130.
Cheers Phil for the credit, yeh what phil said about the camera is right, it can also shoot 600fps and 1200 fps, you start to lose the size of the video on playback though. I got one clip of Andre Paskowski doing a future, the whole clip is 5 minutes long. Hope you guys like the run by…hahaha
Would like to see this clip of Andre with 1200 fps, is it maybe possible to upload it to vimeo, i think lot of people of this community would like to see it
would it be easier to plane away from this move with more mast pressure on the final rotation….
