Gaastra Vapor Formula Board range 2010

THE MISSION:
To create a better board than the most winning board on the formula circuit for the past 2 years.

THE RESULT:
Mission accomplished. After 2 years of testing and trying to make something different to work better, the test team always came back to the original shape.
“We wanted a board that would get planing faster and reach a higher top end speed off the wind. We knew that we already had great upwind ability and more control than all the other boards so after 25 prototypes, we decided to keep the shape and improve the construction!” comments Ross Williams, Formula Champion 2009.

THE BOARD:
We created a lighter and stiffer version of what we knew worked better than anything out there. We have put in the time and know what is fast.
“You don’t want to change a good thing, so we have kept to our plan and are excited to put this lighter/stiffer/stronger board to the ultimate test” says Ross. We will still have the 08/09 version available, but for the ultimate in Formula Racing, the weight savings alone makes a HUGE improvement. “I can’t wait to go racing!” Ross said.
