Heartbeats – a video by the Lake Alliance

Austrian freestylers Max Matissek and Matthias “Motz” Zimmermann created the Lake Alliance. These 2 Windsurfers from Lake Neusiedler will discover the world in the near future. This video, called Heartbeats, is one step of their never ending journey.
With Heartbeats the Lake Alliance won the Austrian Style Get 2 Gether videocontest in October 2009.
The action got mainly filmed in Mauritius at Le Morne, in the lagoon and at the inner reef of One Eye in summer 2009.

This is a really crappy video. All those Austrians seem to think that they’re so cool but they just aren’t!!!! This Matissek guy is completely overrated. Maybe he should just shut up and practise before posting this poser-shit! Lake-alliance – I can but laugh about this crap!

@culo: who are you that u can adjudicate on someone? in my opinion it is ok if you have suggestions for improving a video but to “attack” or to affirm that someone is overrated is not your right and u can´t rate someone!
Sorry that there are people who put a lot of effort in a videoproject just that all the other guys like you can watch these videos! And as we all know everyone likes to watch videos especially during the winter!
But maybe you should not hide yourself behind a nickname and show us a video about you and how you would make a windsurfmovie!
Go and make the perfect clip and show us how YOU would make a video and how YOU present YOURSELF in a shortmovie!

The Hooked video has been a lot better than this one for example. The Austrian style gettogether was even worse.

In my opinion surfers like “culo” (maybe he is not a real surfer) destroy my favourite sport! we try to take the sport further and to show new ways to present windsurfing!
I really like the lake alliance video and I hope some other guys got an inspiration for their new videos!

. maybe we make a better video culo as analfatal and basti as analacrobat on a horseback.i think sounds really good but maybe the action in this video is not long and good enough(absolutely). but this is not a big problem because we are not professional, aren’t we? and we have no financial sponsor but shit happens this video is only “just for fun” we does not have to pay for this performance. Nobody in his senses would say: “this video is shit and the action bla bla bla bla bla bla” to view; to like; to dislike

But there are some things that have to be cleared:
1) I don’t think that I’m overrated, because nobody rated myself high. or did somebody? who rated me? … i dont know anybody who did it. and if somebody rated myself high -> thank you, it’s a pleasure!
2) NOBODY affirmed that we are good wavesailors. But we sailed in waves and had a lot of fun… whats the problem?
better to sail in waves in a bad way then lying on the beach.
Isnt it like that?
If you can do it better -> cool. we also try to improve ourselfs. anyway.
We had FUN!… FUN is what its all about! Fun is what its about in our video “heartbeats”!
