Video – Speedsurfing at the Brace

During a crazy windy day at “The Brace” Julian Gijsen and Niels Abercrombie caputered this nice movie. The Brace is a famous speedspot in the north of Holland. It is a perfect spot for speed, but only usable with the correct angle of wind and correct water level.

Crazy people!!! nice to see people push their limits, but compared to wave or frestyle action it is rather ‘boring’
Peter, thanks for your comment. We’ve tried to make the action look as explosive as possible, but personal tastes for what kind of disciplines you like best are quite hard to take into account as you might understand
awesome, im a wavesailor and i think some of the best parts of films are the crashes, `and i bet you speedies have some huge crashes so i think you should get those up on your next movie! keep up the good wrk and push for 50 knots!!

Thanks for the comment! Strangely the only crash-footage we had is the sailor falling down in the water. These are highly professional speedsurfers and strangely they didn’t crash that much that day! But I totally agree; crashes are wicked
and we’ll definitely put them in our next movie (editing starting this weekend 
)
