Shimuni Extreme Speed One Hour Slalom II

The SHIMUNI EXTREME SPEED ONE HOUR SLALOM II will be held from 11.09. – 13.09.2009 in Top Camping Village Šhimuni, Island of Pag, Croatia.
The purpose of this competition is not to get few more points in the overall score, the mission is to get as many windsurfers as possible on one place at the same time.
First possible start is scheduled for the 11.09.2009 at 18:00 in the Diamond Bay or in the Pearl Lagoon. The course will be more than 2500 meter long and each rider has to try to round the marks as many times within one hour. The sailor with the most lenghts will win.
The organizer will take care about the accommodation, about sponsorship awards, about partys, about dinner…

 

The first 60 entrants will get accommodation for free. Windconditions can be everything, but can get quite strong, if the northeastern Bora or some strong southeastern Yugo will blow.
3.500,00 Euro  of pricemoney, some windsurf equipment and some other nice sponsored stuff can be won. If there should not be enough wind to run an official competition, a Fun Race or some surprise races will be held. The money will be splitted and the other prices  will be distibruted in between all competitors.

 

Sailing instructions will be presented on the first skippers meeting.
