Austrian Speed Challenge 2007

From the 05.-07. October 2007 the Austrian Speed Challenge was held on Lake Neusiedler/Weiden.

On the first day a Long Distance Race was started with a total length of 12,5km. 1st Peter Pfaffenbichler (AUT-84), 2nd Chris Pressler (AUT-226), 3rd Frank Lewisch (AUT-19).

On the second competition day the conditions were quite similar to the first day. Super light wind with gust up to 12 – 15 knots. The organisation of the ASWA decided to run a GPS Speedrace and Chris Pressler could win the competition with a max Speed of 51,9 km/h followed by Peter Pfaffenbichler with an max speed of 50,9 km/h.

3. Chris Sammer AUT-291 (Mistral/North) 49,8km/h
4. Frank Lewisch AUT-19 (Starboard/Severne) 49,5km/h
